The 2026 edition of the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) Conference will take place in Vancouver, Canada, from 24-26 March, with more than 600 experts and senior decision makers from over 40 countries set to be in attendance.
Part of The Consumer Goods Forum, the GFSI Conference has served as a platform for active collaboration on global food safety for 25 years now, with the forthcoming Vancouver event focused on translating this legacy into practical actions that respond to current and emerging risks.
‘Collective progress’
“As we mark 25 years of collective progress, the need for unified action on food safety has never been more urgent,” commented Elizabeth Andoh-Kesson, GFSI director.
“The challenges we face today, from technological change to evolving consumer expectations, demand that we break silos and move forward together. Every person, everywhere, deserves access to safe and nutritious food, and it is our shared responsibility to make that promise a reality.”
On the agenda
The three-day event will explore how leading retailers and manufacturers are tackling food safety risks across their supply chains, how scientific research and regulatory changes are leading to a positive shift in food safety outcomes, and how technology is helping businesses stay ahead of evolving risks.
