Climate Carnival 2025, taking place at Ballintubbert Gardens & House in Laois on 29 and 30 September, will welcome up to 1,000 changemakers from the fields of business, creative, science and activism, for two days of climate leadership and action.

The event, hosted by the Climate Cocktail Club, will feature four stages, five immersive zones, 10 creative acts and 60 renowned speakers, including podcaster and author Blindboy; Hafsat Abiola-Costello, co-founder of Project Dandelion; Brian Crowley, director of Broadlake; broadcaster Hector Ó hEochagáin; Ali Sheridan, chair of the Just Transition Commission; and more.

It opens with a Climate Dinner on 29 September, featuring a keynote address from Tony Juniper, chair of Natural England, before kicking off properly on 30 September. Tickets are now available and can be purchased here.

‘A radical reimagining’

“This is not just another ESG conference, it is a radical reimagining of what a networking and insight event should really be about – people and impact” said Tom Popple, founder-CEO of Climate Cocktail Club.

“This event has been specially designed for all people engaged in taking bold action on climate, nature and communities. It is for everyone from lonely climate leaders to fully fledged sustainability teams, for business professionals to impact entrepreneurs.”

Along with the stages, Climate Carnival will play host to interactive workshops, live music and performances – from Liam Ó Maonlaí, Jerry Fish, Ceara Conway and others – guided walks and talks, and an array of food and drink options.

Other speakers set to appear include Dr Easkey Britton, author and ocean advocate; Amber Nuttall, founder of Extreme Hangout; Dr Tara Shine, CEO of Change by Degrees; Willem Ferwerda, founder of Commonland; Troy Armour, CEO of Junk Kouture; Max Milligan, photographer and author; and Anja Murray, broadcaster and author.

‘Bold ideas’

‘From policy experts to grassroots organisers, from visionary CEOs to climate youth delegates – this is where bold ideas meet brave action,’ as the organisers put it.

Bus package options are available with returns from Cork, Galway and Dublin. For teams looking to attend, discounts are also available for multi-person bookings. Learn more here: www.climatecocktailclub.org/events.
