Carlsberg Group has announced a three-year water replenishment program in the Nanjangud block of Mysuru, India, in collaboration with WaterAid. The initiative aims to provide clean water access to around 34,000 individuals, in an area known for its water scarcity.
The programme will address essential aspects such as wetland conservation, source sustainability measures, grey water management, and sustainable agriculture interventions.
Carlsberg said in a statement that it will also involve awareness campaigns, training programs, and convergence meetings to actively engage key stakeholders within the community.
