Global football powerhouse Real Madrid has announced a global strategic partnership with ELITE Solar, with the Singapore-based firm becoming the club’s official solar panel provider, as well as an official partner.

In a statement, the two firms said that the collaboration reflects the ‘shared values of both organisations and their commitment to creating a lasting positive impact on future generations.’

The deal will see ELITE Solar work alongside the Spanish club on efforts to promote sustainability, innovation and responsible growth, through engagement with supporters, customers, employees, and communities.

‘Share our values’

“At Real Madrid, we seek partners who share our values and our vision for the future,” commented Emilio Butragueño, former striker and current institutional relations director at Real Madrid. “We are pleased to welcome ELITE Solar to our global network of partners.”

ELITE Solar, which was founded in 2005, serves utility-scale and commercial and industrial markets around the world. Along with its Singapore headquarters, the group has a base in California, while it also operates integrated manufacturing facilities in Egypt, Indonesia, Vietnam, and soon, the United States.

‘Pursuit of excellence’

“We are honoured to partner with Real Madrid, one of the most respected and successful organisations in the world,” added Alex Chen, general manager of ELITE Solar.

“This partnership represents far more than a sponsorship; it is a reflection of our shared pursuit of excellence, global impact, and long-term value creation. Together, we look forward to inspiring people through innovation, performance, and a commitment to a more sustainable future.”

As both parties note, the partnership will enable them to ‘enhance brand visibility, support sustainability initiatives, and create meaningful experiences for stakeholders across key international markets’. Read more here.
