Global Warming

Global Warming refers to the long-term increase in Earth’s average surface temperature, driven primarily by the accumulation of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.

SustainabilityOnline provides coverage of the latest global warming developments, including temperature records, climate science, extreme weather, climate impacts, emissions trends and international climate policy. We explore how rising temperatures are affecting businesses, communities and ecosystems, as well as the measures being taken to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, strengthen climate resilience and limit further warming. We also examine developments in biodiversity, renewable energy, decarbonisation, climate adaptation and the transition to a low-carbon economy.

Related topics: global warming, climate change, climate action, greenhouse gas emissions, temperature rise, extreme weather, heatwaves, sea level rise, climate resilience, climate adaptation, biodiversity, decarbonisation, renewable energy, net zero, climate policy, carbon emissions, climate science, environmental impacts and corporate sustainability.
